Amenities and Services

Both our pitches have their own private tent-side kitchenette and flat grassy area. The DIY pitch also has a large wooden deck Whilst the Yurty-Bell tent has stylish hand made furniture, including the double bed, table and benches and clothes rail. Outside both pitches have a place to enjoy camp fires safely and both have a 6-seater picnic table. The tents have solar lights inside the tents and in the kitchenettes. In our Yurty-Bell tent there is a second bed settee.

We also have a single trundle bed available making it possible for either tent to sleep an extra guest comfortably (available on request).

Well Park Shower Rooms

In 2020 we decided to build our own Glamping site. We designed and built the Shower Rooms first with the intention of making them as beautiful as one we’d have in our home. Our two self contained shower rooms are warm and sparkling clean. They both have walk-in showers with glass screens, and oodles of hot water. Both have full flushing toilets and basins with beautiful hand made mirrors reflecting light into the space. We are confident our shower rooms will impress even the most nervous of Glampers.

Outside the shower rooms there is a large stainless steel kitchen sink with hot and cold water and washing up items, a small shared fridge freezer and power point for charging devices.

Comfortable Modern Facilities

The shower rooms are lit inside and out by motion sensor lighting with solar garden lights lining the paths from both areas.

Outdoor Fun Awaits

The field is there to be enjoyed by all guests. We are a tiny Glampsite, it is not unusual to be the only guests here. At most we will only ever have 4 groups of people at any one time.

There are many paths mown into the field, creating safe and exciting journeys all around the acreage. We advise people to stay on the paths to respect the nature that thrives in the tall grass. Rabbit holes and mole hills can appear over night, please move carefully in the re-wilded areas. We have planted over 1200 trees since 2020, they have canes and tree guards protecting them from rabbits and deer and these can be difficult to see as the grass can be taller than the young trees. Please stay on the paths to ensure your safety.

Our policy on visiting pet Dogs.

We love dogs. We have 3 hypoallergenic doodles here at Well Park. They are passionate about thier home and the love letting us know people have arrived by barking loudly ( we are working on improving this greeting style).

Unfortunately we can not welcome visiting dogs into Well Park Glamping for a number of reasons.

Firstly, sadly, one of our home-bred dogs is reactive to unfamiliar dogs but luckily he loves humans and he loves his dog family he has here.

Secondly, we work tirelessly to pick up our dogs mess and from pass experience, we know people see countryside and long grass and think, relax ( a feeling we want you to feel ) but this extends to leaving dog mess in the grass. Unfortunately our dogs run through the long grass every day, several times a day and they sleep on our bed ! enough explained.

Thirdly there is a lot of nature in the field,. We are constantly on the look out for pheasants nesting on the ground, rabbits feeding in the bracken and mice making homes in the grass. We walk our dogs on the lead when necessary to avoid damage to nature. It is difficult to insist that guests do the same.

The Forth reason is allergy related. Sadly Sarah is allergic to non hypoallergenic.dogs and cleaning the yurty bell tent after a non hypoallergenic dog has visited makes her pretty unwell for a few days. It is also important for other incoming guests to know that pets have not been in the tent for the same purposes.

It has been a difficult decision to make. We have had people choose to stay with us because it is a dog free space, as well as loose guests who wish to holiday with their pets.
